Console Administration via KIOSK
The default user environment is the web-based application. However, for advanced administrative tasks, it is possible to switch to the system console. Plug a monitor into DisplayPort #1 or VGA (explained in Chapter 1.5 Display connection) to access KIOSK. The background OS is Rocky Linux 9 where the standard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+F2 will forward you to the console environment, or alternatively Ctrl+Alt+T (used in the web application) forwards you to a graphical terminal application (it’s not meant for long-term use, only for a quick configuration or diagnostic).
System services:
All Twenty-one encoder components run as a system service. You can use the standard OS’s interface systemctl to manage those services.
